- 1 package hot dogs (beef or your choice)
- 1 package hot dog buns
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the hot dogs, turning occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes until lightly charred.
- While grilling, steam or microwave the hot dog buns until soft.
- Dice the onion finely and set aside.
- Place each hot dog in a bun.
- Drizzle mustard and ketchup over the hot dogs.
- Top with diced onions and a spoonful of relish.
- Serve immediately with sides like chips, coleslaw, or baked beans.
