Description
Delicious slow cooker teriyaki meatballs served over rice or noodles.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds frozen meatballs
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Add pineapple juice if using chunks.
- Place frozen meatballs and pineapple chunks (if using) into the slow cooker.
- Pour the sauce over the meatballs, making sure they are evenly coated.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the slow cooker.
- Stir occasionally and let the sauce thicken into a glossy glaze.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions over the top.
- Serve hot over rice, noodles, or as an appetizer.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- You can make homemade teriyaki sauce for additional flavor.
