Description
A delicious gooey chocolate chip cookie baked in a cast iron skillet, topped with ice cream and chocolate sauce.
Ingredients

- ½ cup butter (unsalted, softened)
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ Tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 4 scoops chocolate chip ice cream
- chocolate sauce for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350℉.
- In a medium bowl, mix together butter and sugars until combined.
- Add in vanilla and egg.
- Slowly stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Press the cookie dough mixture into the bottom of an 8-inch cast iron skillet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes (it will be gooey and under done).
- Pull out of the oven and top with ice cream, then drizzle with chocolate sauce.
- Serve while still warm (and before the ice cream melts!).
Notes
- Try adding nuts for extra texture.
- Serve immediately for best results.
