Description

A hearty beef and kielbasa stew cooked slowly in a crock pot, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast, trimmed and cut into large chunks
  • 1 pound kielbasa sausage, ensure it’s halal, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix, halal-friendly
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth, ensure it’s halal

Instructions

  1. Start by trimming any excess fat from the beef chuck roast and cut it into large chunks.
  2. Slice the halal kielbasa sausage into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix.
  4. Layer the beef, sausage, and pepperoncini in the bottom of the crock pot.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over everything.
  6. Pour the beef broth over the top to ensure everything is moistened.
  7. Cover the crock pot and set it to low for 6-8 hours or high for about 4 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.
  8. Once done, shred the beef with a fork and mix it into the sauce before serving.
