Ingredients

- 14 oz extra-firm tofu (1 package)
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 green onions (chopped)
Instructions
- Press the tofu for 30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- In a bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and rice vinegar.
- Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized pieces and marinate in the mixture for at least 20 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly grease it.
- Grill tofu for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Drizzle remaining marinade over the grilled tofu and allow it to caramelize for another minute.
- Serve topped with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
- For best flavor, allow tofu to marinate longer than 20 minutes.
- Ensure tofu is pressed properly to achieve a nice texture.
