A delicious strawberry custard cake perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk (or almond milk)
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 package instant custard mix (3 oz)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add softened butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla to the dry ingredients; mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool cakes in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
- Prepare instant custard according to package directions.
- Assemble by placing one cake layer on a platter, spreading half the custard over it, adding sliced strawberries, topping with the second layer, and repeating.
- Chill in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
Notes
- This cake can be served with whipped cream for added flavor.
