- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 medium onion, finely diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 garlic bread loaf
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink.
- Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
- Pour in tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce; mix well.
- Simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Slice the garlic bread loaf in half lengthwise.
- Spread softened butter on each side and sprinkle with minced garlic.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto the bread and top with shredded cheese.
- Broil on high for 3-5 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
