Description

A delicious prime rib recipe seasoned and cooked to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 bones prime rib
  • 2 tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 2 tbsp Favorite Steak Rub
  • 2 gallons Honey
  • ½ cup Red Chili Flakes

Instructions

  1. Season your prime rib generously with kosher salt.
  2. Gently heat up your honey until it is very viscous.
  3. Add your steak to a food safe container.
  4. Cover in the honey, cover the container and place in the fridge for 24 hours to cure.
  5. If the honey does not cover the steak completely, flip the steak every 2 hours.
  6. Pull the steak out and wipe off any excess honey.
  7. Generously season with your favorite steak rub. Set to the side.
  8. Preheat your smoker to 275F for indirect cooking.
  9. Add your steak to cook for about 2-3 hours until 120F internal.
  10. Pull off once done to rest for 10 minutes.
  11. Pull off, slice and serve!

  • For best results, use high-quality prime rib.
  • Make sure to monitor the internal temperature closely to ensure desired doneness.
