Grilled Chicken Thighs with Marinade

Description

Delicious grilled chicken thighs marinated in yogurt and spices for a flavorful dish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 kg 2 lb Chicken thighs, Boneless and skinless and cut lengthways
  • 150 g Natural yoghurt
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Ground cumin
  • 0 tsp Cinnamon
  • 0 tsp Dried chilli flakes
  • 2 tsp Garlic granules (or 3 cloves of fresh garlic)
  • 1 Lemon (Zest and juice)
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yoghurt, lemon zest + juice, spices, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken thighs and coat well. Marinate for at least 30 mins.
  3. Preheat grill or pan to medium-high.
  4. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
  5. Grill for 6–8 mins per side or until golden and cooked through.
  6. Baste with leftover marinade for extra flavor (optional).
  7. Let rest a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve with Pink Pickled Onions and Shack Sauce for extra zing.

Notes

  • Marinating longer than 30 mins can enhance the flavor.
  • Ensure the grill is preheated for best results.
