Description

Ingredients

  • 24 tablespoons milk (more or less as needed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt (omit if using salted butter)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Microwave the flour in 20-second intervals until it reaches 165°F, about 40-60 seconds, or bake it in a 350°F oven for 3-5 minutes. Let it cool.
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a stand mixer or large bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate the cooled flour, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt into the butter mixture until fully combined.
  4. Gradually add milk one tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula or spoon.

Notes

  • For best results, ensure the butter is softened but not melted.
  • This dough can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
