Description

A delicious creamy garlic parmesan tortellini dish made with tender steak, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • to taste Garlic powder
  • to taste Smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups Parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini
  • to taste Red pepper flakes, optional
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped, optional
  • for garnish Cracked black pepper, optional

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let it rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and whole milk, bring to a simmer.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  6. Prepare cheese tortellini according to package instructions; drain and add to the sauce.
  7. Slice the steak and serve on top of the tortellini, garnished with red pepper flakes, chopped parsley, and cracked black pepper.

Notes

  • This recipe can be easily modified to include your favorite vegetables.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
