Description

Delicious chocolate-covered strawberries coated in yogurt, perfect for a sweet treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
  • Sprinkles or crushed nuts (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the strawberries and remove the green tops. Cut them in half or quarters, depending on your preference.
  2. In a mixing bowl, scoop out the yogurt. Dip each strawberry piece into the yogurt, ensuring they’re fully covered. Use a fork to lift them out, allowing excess yogurt to drip off.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the yogurt-coated strawberries in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch each other.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes. This will help the yogurt firm up before the chocolate coating.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely melted and smooth.
  6. Once the yogurt has set, dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off before placing them back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  7. If you want a decorative touch, sprinkle crushed nuts or sprinkles over the chocolate before it sets.
  8. Return the baking sheet to the freezer for another 10-15 minutes or until the chocolate hardens completely.
