Description
A refreshing blend of tomatillos and avocado perfect for dipping.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium avocado, peeled and pitted
- 5 medium tomatillos, husked, rinsed and quartered
- 1 medium jalapeño, roughly chopped
- ½ medium white onion
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced
- ½ cup packed cilantro leaves
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Add the avocado, tomatillos, jalapeño, onion, garlic, cilantro and lime juice to a blender or food processor.
- Purée until the mixture is smooth.
- Season with salt.
- Use or store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
Notes
- Store leftovers for up to a week in the refrigerator.
- Great with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos.
