Description

A delightful arrangement of cheeses, cured meats, and fresh fruits served in teacups for an elegant presentation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces assorted cheeses (cubed, sliced, or rolled)
  • 24 slices cured meats (like salami, prosciutto, or pepperoni)
  • 16 assorted crackers
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, etc.)
  • ½ cup seedless grapes
  • ½ cup olives (use pitted for easier eating)
  • 1 cup assorted nuts (almonds, pistachios, or walnuts work well)
  • 16 long, thin crackers or crispbread sticks

Instructions

  1. Begin by adding a layer of grapes and nuts to the bottom of each teacup. This helps anchor everything and gives a solid base for building up your ingredients. If you’d prefer to include a small portion of dip instead, that can be added here in place of the base layer.
  2. Nestle the crackers toward the back or side of each cup so they peek out and create some height. Choose longer, more narrow styles that won’t overpower the size of the cup.
  3. Use decorative toothpicks or cocktail picks to assemble a mix of meats, cheeses, olives, fruits, or whatever else you’d like to showcase. Mini forks also work well for presenting cheese cubes or rolled items you want to feature on their own.
  4. Carefully tuck each pick into the teacup, angling them in different directions and mixing the colors and textures to make each cup feel full and festive.
  5. Once the main components are in place, go back and fill any open spaces with extra berries, small crackers, or nuts to help secure everything and add that final layer of abundance.
  6. Finish each CharCUPerie with a sprig of fresh herbs or a few edible flowers. This little touch adds elegance and ties everything together beautifully.
